With all stringent measures in place and the conscious implementation of new normal guidelines, dusitD2’s Madayaw Café still aspires to make Kadayawan season a good experience by dedicating a menu to the local tribes of Davao region. “The festival should highlight the tribes and their culture, and that’s what we have strived to achieve and share to our guests. Food | Freshko's Nova Tierra, Lanang Branch Opened

Ribbon Cutting of Freshko Nova Tierra Opening

Talking about Freshko, what comes into my mind is the Avocado Float! Actually, it is a family favorite!!! My father and mother would always want an avocado shake or float that really answers the craving for an avocado thirst quencher plus healthy! However, existing branches were only at Toril and Acacia or during events where Freshko participated that was a bit far from the northern part of the city.

Freshko Nova Tierra, Lanang Branch

Good news! Freshko, a company of real fruit shakes, opened its 3rd branch in Davao City at Nova Tierra, Lanang - August 18, 2020. It is a celebration for the people of northern part of Davao City who craves for a Freshko! It is also very timely for the celebration of Kadayawan Festival as fruits are abundant during this season, plus they are making way for a Kadayawan promo. The opening, with observance of the minimum health standards, was also graced by Mr. Kylie Gaite, Ginoong Davao 2019.

Ms. Marylou Gerondio

Another good news! Freshko is now open for FRESHKO Franchise! According to Ms. Marylou Gerondio, Freshko Founder & President, they are making way for interested and aspiring entrepreneurs to be successful like how Freshko has become. They are ready to share their placed system with full support to have an easy business with remarkable earnings.

Indeed, it is another milestone for the company with partnerships to happen.

Me during the Opening

Freshko started 2003 with a very simple vision of providing for the family its everyday needs. With a meager amount of P200, it has grown to what it is now. It is another Davao brand that showcases the abundance of fruit harvest in the city, especially with avocado, mango and durian - all of which are tropical fruits. With this in mind, Freshko wants to position itself as among the "well-know fresh fruit refreshments provider in the country that are using locally-grown fruit products, furthermore, helping local farmers sustain a living. A brand name that screams great quality."

I am among those who are happy that Freshko has come nearer to us in this side of the city. It is indeed a favorite and with great potential in the market amidst the current health challenges in the world. According to Ms. Marylou, Freshko Nova Tierra will be available with food delivery apps very soon! That will make Freshko available at the comforts of our home.

Food Lifestyle | Food Panda Relaunch in Davao - A Success!

Food Panda in Davao City, Relaunched
Recently, foodpanda in Davao City has relaunched its food delivery services with more partners. Yes, they are having more and more expansion in the city.

For this month, Food Panda has treats for the many by using the code OCTOBERFEAST to get 25% off when you order P100 or more. Aside from that, new users in Davao City will also get a chance to have P100 off using the code DVOFEAST with a minimum amount of order of P199 until October 31, 2019. Isn't it exciting? Of course, it is! You will see the streets with pink riders!

In line with the relaunch, Food Panda foodcrawl to 3 food shops in Davao City also has happened.
Platter from Coffee at Yellow Hauz
First stop, Coffee at Yellow Hauz wherein we are served with their coffee and a platter of brownie, pasta, toasted bread with butter, and pizza. That is a carbohydrate load for me but I am ready to munch it! :p By the way, this coffee shop is the only more than a decade old proudly Davao brand and owned solely by Davaoenos. It is a good space to do some of your stuff and it has good wifi connection while enjoying their good food.
Healthy Dishes at Sea Green
Second stop, the Sea Green Cafe + Boutique Rooms wherein we are served with a refreshing cucumber drink, seafood kare-kare, lemon garlic chicken with garlic black rice, fish salpicao with brown rice, and tomato mozzarella penny pasta. I like this place so much with the healthy food, fresh and organic. It is indeed a café that has this concept of bringing healthy food to your table. But they don't only serve fish or vegetables, they have meat as well with chicken and beef. They are also a bed and breakfast café, wherein you can stay in their available rooms.
Sweet Treats at Confex and Co.
Last stop, the Confex & Co. Bakehouse wherein we are served with their platter of brownie, revel bars and amazing cheesy ensaymada, which I like best! Aside from that, they also have served their signature cheesecake on sticks plus some goodie cakes: red velvet, ube de leche and chocolate moist. It is a sweet tooth haven and your cravings will be satisfied.

That's just three of the many food shops you can visit or find at the foodpanda app. There's more to choose from! I would like to thank Food Panda for this opportunity to join the food crawl and hopefully for more engagements. Color the streets with pink! :-)
