The elusive Olympic Gold Medal for the Philippines is now on hand for the first time!
Hidilyn Diaz bags the first Olympic Gold Medal for the Philippines in the weightlifting event July 26, 2021. Tonight is also the first time that the Philippine national anthem is heard. She has lifted a total of 224kg, a kilogram more than the Chinese weightlifter.
Hidilyn Diaz is among the Philippines' 19 athletes for this Tokyo 2020 (2021) Summer Olympics. More athletes are going to make their rounds of event and I am feeling of another gold in the coming days!
I wish all the athletes the best and make this year the best Olympics for the Filipino athletes!
